CTO Roundtable Q4 2025

Last week Thursday we had our final CTO Roundtable of 2025 — topic: Cybersecurity: Threat or Opportunity? 🔐

We had a fantastic panel with Sebastian Bonk, Sergii Smyrnov, and Elmar Weber, covering everything from proactive defense strategies to how cybersecurity can actually become a business enabler.

I especially enjoyed how Sebastian switched so fluently between his perspectives as a product person and a service provider — it sparked some great insights and discussions!

My key takeaways

• Even with the best design and architecture patterns, some risks will always remain.
• Sometimes it’s wise to wait before jumping to the latest version in your supply chain.
• Regular training for all teams is essential — I’ll definitely revisit our emergency handbook after this session.
